What it is

Zinc oxide is a mineral that absorbs and scatters ultraviolet light across the UVA and UVB range. It stays on the surface of the skin and starts working as soon as it is applied.

On its own it leaves a white cast. Ours is non-nano and is paired with iron oxides, which tint the formula so the cast is less visible.

How we use it

At 14% as the only UV filter in Tinted SPF 30.

How to use

Morning, as the last step. Use about a quarter of a teaspoon for the face and neck, and reapply every two hours outdoors.

Pairs well with

Iron oxides in the same formula. Vitamin C underneath in the morning.

Cautions

No sunscreen blocks all UV. Reapply after swimming, sweating or towelling, and keep out of the eyes.
