What it is

Coco-glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant: one end of the molecule holds on to oil, the other to water, so oil and dirt rinse away. It is made from fatty alcohols from coconut and glucose from corn.

It foams less than sulfates and is among the gentler surfactants in common use, which is why it is often chosen for face washes and baby products.

How we use it

At 4% as the main cleansing agent in Daily Gel Cleanser, with 5% glycerin. No sulfates.

How to use

Morning and evening on wet skin. Massage for half a minute and rinse.

Pairs well with

Glycerin in the same cleanser. Sunflower seed oil first, if you double cleanse.

Cautions

Keep out of the eyes. Any cleanser can dry skin if it is left on or used too often.
