What it is

Oil dissolves oil. Sunflower seed oil is thin, spreads easily and loosens the oil-based things water alone will not move: sunscreen, make-up and the day's sebum.

It is high in linoleic acid, a fatty acid that is also part of the skin barrier, and low in the heavier fatty acids that make some oils feel greasy.

How we use it

At 62% in Soft Oil Cleanser, with an emulsifier so it turns milky and rinses off with water.

How to use

On dry skin with dry hands. Massage for a minute, add water, then rinse well.

Pairs well with

Squalane in the same cleanser. Follow with Daily Gel Cleanser if you like a second cleanse.

Cautions

Keep out of the eyes; an oily film can blur vision for a few minutes.
