What it is

Panthenol is the alcohol form of vitamin B5, which the skin converts to pantothenic acid. It holds water like glycerin does, and it is widely used in products for skin that feels tight or looks red.

It is stable, has no scent and rarely causes a reaction, so it is a common ingredient in formulas for sensitive skin.

How we use it

At 2% in Overnight Mask, with 10% squalane.

How to use

Evening, as the last step. Leave on overnight.

Pairs well with

Squalane, glycerin and ceramides. Useful on the nights you do not use retinal or exfoliating acid.
